About this event

CCEUs:
0.5 in Core Competencies and 0.5 in Resource Development
As coaches, we work side by side with our clients to support their transformation and growth. When guiding clients through transformation, an often overlooked component is the wisdom of the body.
Ah-ha moments, and new knowledge alone don’t produce breakthrough behavior or lasting habit change. However, somatic coaching which integrates intellectual, emotional, and physical ways of knowing can help clients achieve lasting change.
In this experiential session, participants will:
- Gain an understanding of somatics, and how somatic coaching fosters client growth.
- Learn the three key components of somatic transformation and their application in client work.
- Experience somatic practices to enhance somatic awareness.
- Receive resources for becoming a certified somatic coach and referring clients for somatic coaching.
