June Program Spotlight

Join us Wednesday, June 10 from 12:00pm–1:00pm for “The Space Between Words: Inclusion in Real Coaching Conversations,” our Annual Cultural Competency Workshop that supports our chapter’s DEIB initiative, BEACON (Belonging, Equity, Access Coaching Opportunity Network). In this interactive session, ICF Global DEIB leaders Dr. Jennifer Koster and Sarah Masoud will explore how inclusion is experienced in real coaching conversations, not just in theory. Through live role play demonstrations, we’ll examine how communication style, cultural assumptions, neurodiversity, identity, and power dynamics can shape trust, safety, and client outcomes in coaching spaces. Register here.

On Tuesday, June 23, join us from 6:30pm–8:00pm for our Credentialing Workshop, “Unlock the Value of Your ICF Credential,” an informative session designed for coaches at all stages of their credentialing journey. Together with host Venus Tayco, PCC, ICF Sacramento Director of Credentialing, you’ll explore the benefits of earning and maintaining an ICF credential and gain insight on the credentialing process. You’ll learn practical tips and takeaways to help you navigate your path to credentialing success. This is an interactive presentation with breakout discussions. Register here.

June Chapter Meeting and Lunch & Learn

On Tuesday, June 9 from 6:30pm–8:00pm PT, join presenter Ukti Vora for our June Chapter MeetingFrom Curiosity to Capability: Using AI as a Coach’s Personal Assistant.” Participants will explore how different AI models can be used as personal assistants and thinking partners. The session highlights how to use these tools for coaching-related tasks such as preparation, reflection, content drafting, and administrative support. Register here.

Our June Lunch & Learn, “From Pixels to Possibility: Visual Tools That Spark Coaching Magic” with host Tina Shaw, PCC, ICF Sacramento Director of Strategic Partnerships, will be held Wednesday, June 17 from 12:00pm–1:00pm PT. Join us for a hands-on exploration of Speak Up Digital by Points of You — a playful, photography-based platform that uses images, metaphors, and word associations to ignite imagination, trigger intuition, and spark authentic dialogue. The first 20 registrants will be invited directly into the Speak Up Digital platform to choose their own image and word cards in real time. Register here.

Productive Learning with Peer Coaching

Registration ends June 30 for our next round of Peer Coaching, which begins July 8

Our self-managed peer coaching programs thrive on teamwork and collective effort, fostering a productive learning space and nurturing environment where everyone can succeed while earning CCEUs in Core Competencies.

In our 3-session Coaching Triad program, participants meet once a week for 90 minutes, rotating to a different role (coach, client, and observer) each week of the program. Register here.

Our Reciprocal Coaching program offers a great opportunity for participants to practice their skills by participating as both a coach and a client. Register here.

Strengthen Your Foundation with Our Core Competency Series

Our next Core Competency Series meeting is Thursday, June 25 from 6:00pm–7:00pm PT. Join speaker Carmen Perry, PCC, CPC monthly through October, with each month focusing on a different ICF Core Competency. Rather than treating competencies as checklists, participants will be invited to thoughtfully explore them as living practices that shape presence, relationship, and impact in their coaching. Register here.
