Membership Eligibility

Here's a look at what ICF Sacramento membership eligibility involves:

• For certain ICF Sacramento membership levels, you must be a member in good standing of the International Coaching Federation (ICF) and maintain your ICF Global membership for the duration of your membership with ICF Sacramento. (Refer to our chart of membership options and benefits for more details). When joining or renewing your membership with ICF Sacramento, you may be asked to provide proof of your ICF Global membership. This includes, but is not limited to, the ICF member number issued by ICF Global, the original or renewal date of your ICF Global membership, or written confirmation of membership from ICF Global.
• If membership with ICF Global is required based on the ICF Sacramento membership level you’ve selected, you must choose ICF Sacramento as your affiliate chapter.
• You practice an identifiable form of coaching as part of your professional practice or occupation.
• You agree to uphold the requirements of the ICF Sacramento Bylaws and any of its rules and regulations which the ICF Sacramento Board of Directors may adopt, including the ICF Code of Ethics.

Membership Approval

After submitting your Membership Application and dues to ICF Sacramento, you’ll receive verification from our Director of Membership that your application and dues have been received. If you haven’t received an email within 7 business days of applying and paying your dues, please email us at directormembership@icfsacramento.org.

Our Director of Membership will review your application (and verify your active membership with ICF Global, if required based on the ICF Sacramento membership level you selected). You’ll be contacted by the Director of Membership If they have questions or if your information is incomplete. 

Once the required information has been received and verified, your membership with ICF Sacramento will be approved. Our Director of Membership will email you to welcome you and share additional information about your membership benefits, including how to add your listing to the ICF Sacramento Directory.

We invite all new members to begin connecting with other members right away! Join us virtually for New(ish) Member/Associate Welcome Meetings and Maximize Your Membership Meetings, or connect with peers in person at our Coaches’ Cafes, held regularly throughout the greater Sacramento region.
