Coaching Mastermind and Case Analysis

Join two of our ICF Sacramento Coaches, Laurie Cozart, MCC and Ray Weaver, PCC in this outstanding program to enhance and expand your coaching skills starting in September. "Signing Up" means committing to all classes for the one fee paid.

The program meets once a month for six months (See dates below)*.  Space is limited to 6 coaches. This program is approved for participants to receive 10 Core Competency CCEU's upon completion of all sessions.

The Coaching Mastermind and Case Analysis is a reflective practice for learning and development of coaches, beyond mentoring.  In partnership we will explore with coaches their coaching work within evolving systems, focusing on patterns, thinking, models and relationships dynamics.

This process benefits the coach, their clients and the organizations they serve as the cornerstone for integrity and quality of coaching.

As a professional coach, you empower individuals, groups, and organizations to make important change in their lives and work.  As such, your work is deeply influential, requiring you to be ever vigilant of practices that could render clients vulnerable to dependency on your partnership.

Professional supervision provides a safe and collaborative space for coaches to reflect on their practice, set appropriate boundaries, and ensure coaching puts client learning and decision-making front and center.

The ICF Global Board, who “strongly encourages” supervision defines it this way:
“Coaching Supervision is a collaborative learning practice to continually build the capacity of the coach through reflective dialogue for the benefit of both coaches and clients. (It) focuses on the development of the coach’s capacity through offering a richer and broader opportunity for support and development…and creates a safe environment for the coach to share their successes and failures in becoming masterful in the way they work with their clients.”

Supervision is no longer optional for many coaches. Increasingly corporate clients and procurement specialists are making evidence of regular supervision part of their quality assurance process.

ICF Sacramento’s Coaching Mastermind and Case Analysis group offers best-of-class supervision, led by Laurie Cozart, MCC and Ray Weaver, PCC.

Join Laurie and Ray, and an intimate group of fellow coaches, for a six-month course that begins on September 13.

Together we will:
• Help you benchmark your practice against best practice
• Work through ethical dilemmas that come up in coaching conversations
• Define the markers of quality in the coaching practice
• Bring a systemic lens to the practice of coaching

Our Mastermind is a safe, supportive, exploratory environment where coaches can explore:

Clear contracting and creating a working alliance, including help with multi-party contracting where appropriate
Establishing good boundaries with clients and stakeholders
Enhancing reflection when working with content and process
Attending to the coach’s personal development; opening up new areas of competence for the coach
Deepening coaching presence
Building the coach's internal supervisor
Offering new insights and perspectives to the coach
Increasing the coach’s range of interventions and tools, while being sensitive to the coach's learning style
Bringing in aspects of coaching psychology as appropriate
Giving constructive feedback and offering experiments and applications through which the coach can learn direct communication
Ensuring that standards and ethics are maintained
Working systemically – with the coach, the client, and the wider field
