Communicating Effectively - Direct Communication

The seventh ICF Core Competency  - Direct Communication - aids in communicating effectively with your client through the practice of using language that has the greatest positive impact on the client, and being clear, articulate and direct in questions, observations and feedback. This competency asks coaches to draw on the client's language, interests for metaphor and analogy for learning. 
 
Together we will unpack what it means to engage in Direct Communication with our clients; How to notice language and the impact on the client, and using language that supports and respects the client. 

Join us for this interactive teleclass to deepen your knowledge of communicating effectively with clients and keep your coaching practice in alignment with professional coaching standards.

Come prepared to ask questions, share your experience and explore the nuances of Direct Communication. 

This session will be facilitated by Leann Ferry, MPA, ACC. Leann is a Certified Professional Coach trained through the International Coach Academy. She is the founder of Courageous Mindset, a coaching and training organization specializing in empowering women (and men) to act outside their comfort zones to be who they are and create the lives they want. She is author of "Speak Up Stand Strong" a book to free yourself from the hidden force that silences you
