Greetings ICF Sacramento Members and Friends! We Need Your Input


JOIN US in co-creating the vision and results you desire for your ICF Chapter in 2020. We are looking for people who have a high passion for the coaching profession and want to be a part of a progressive, enthusiastic and collaborative team.  Are you Interested in driving strategy, influencing program development, a whiz with social media, a person who loves forming connections then we have a place for you on the 2020 Board of Directors.


Fall means it is election time for next year’s Board of Directors. Members will receive a link in October to vote for next year’s Board. The results will be announced at the November general meeting and in our December newsletter. We would like to fill these positions early to allow for training and the smooth transitions of the roles.

Please note:
 Nominations will close on September 30th at midnight. 


We have six openings on the ballot:

  • President-Elect (responsible for supporting the needs of the membership and the members of the board. The president-elect will succeed the president without election.)
  • Director of Strategic Alliance  (responsible for creating awareness of our coaching profession and chapter, partnerships that bring additional membership value. 
  • Director of Finance/Treasurer (responsible for ensuring the Chapter continuity in financial management, tax reporting and related contract management.  Report on the finances at the Chapter monthly.  In charge of the banking relationship, checkbook and debit card. 
  • Director of Communications (responsible for overseeing the activities related to communication and coordinates with the Director of Strategic Alliances for the chapter and its members.
  • Director of Professional Development  (responsible for overseeing the activities related to personal and professional development. They will build, grow, develop and manage all aspects of program offerings, providing quality educational, informational, and networking opportunities for our members, potential members and Coaches outside of our Chapter too.  
  • Director of Administration (Secretary)  responsible for maintaining official minutes and records of the proceedings of the Board, members and committees and the organization and be custodian of the corporate records of the organization.  


Qualifications of the Board of Director: to serve on the board of directors an individual must meet the following criteria and be:

  • An ICF-credentialed member or a member who commits to qualifying for an ICF credential
  • A member of ICF Sacramento and ICF Global in good standing
  • Able to attend a majority of Chapter meetings each term year
  • Able to participate in a majority of Board meetings each term year
  • Be nominated for the position by the Nominating Committee and approved by a majority vote of the board, and be voted into office by a simple majority vote of those that have membership privileges.
