Dear ICF Sacramento Community,
Welcome to October 2021
October is my favorite month of the year, the Halloween decor, the crunchy leaves, the changing weather, the sports. October seems to have something for everyone and encourages you to relax and find your inner kid again.
October is all about enjoying the beauty of the last waning days of the year before the onslaught of holiday planning and New Year's resolution-making sets in. As the brilliant L.M. Montgomery wrote in Anne of Green Gables, "I'm so glad I live in a world where there are Octobers."
As October wanes, and as I reflect on this past year as your Chapter President I am amazed and impressed with the intelligent and engaging programs the volunteers of ICF Sacramento Chapter created to serve our community of Coaches, those in the Sacramento area and across the globe.
During our events, it's not unusual to see faces from all over California, and it's also not uncommon to see faces from the rest of the USA, and beyond to the UK, Australia, China, or India. Because of our amazing board members and volunteers our reach is global. Together, we have made a global impact and provided content that helps people connect and grow their potential.
We don't become that good by accident. We become that good because of our volunteers' dedication, passion, energy, intellect, and time.
We invite you to become part of an innovative group of ICF coaches and volunteer a few hours a month or more to make 2022 even better than our previous years!
Be involved, volunteer for things where you can use your strengths, stretch your learning and be involved in a supportive community of practice. Help us, your fellow coaches coach more, coach better and coach connect.
