Happy Spring! ICF members have resources and opportunities to contribute in so many ways. If you are looking for ways to get involved with our chapter, please fill out our:
volunteer interest form.
Speaking of ways to get involved locally, I am so excited that we are starting a new event called “Coach's Cafés”. We’ve heard our members’ feedback about wanting to connect in person. These casual gatherings will be held every 2-3 months and are a way for coaches to gather socially. We hope these events will provide the sense of community people have been searching for.
Rebecca Lachona and I are hosting the April café in West Sacramento. You may recognize Rebecca as our Associate Director of Communications (and organizer of this monthly newsletter!). In addition to her role on the board, Rebecca has enjoyed getting back into the Sacramento restaurant scene with her husband, Kevin. She likes coaching because it helps her feel deeply connected to others by supporting their personal growth and development.
Come meet fellow coaches and enthusiasts this month at any of the 3 coach’s café options. Scroll down for more information.
We hope to see you there!

Coach’s Cafés
Want to build your coaching community? Join us for a Coach's Café!
Coach's Cafés are informal, in-person gatherings of coaches, meeting up in various locations, to connect throughout the month. Think of it as in person break-out rooms!
These free events will be hosted by a member (so you won't be alone), however, you'll purchase your own food or beverage. Feel free to: bring a fellow coach, potential coach, and attend as many as you'd like. We hope to see you there!

International Coaching Week (ICW)
The main focus of ICW is to help expand awareness of the coaching profession, give people an opportunity to try it out, and see what it's like. Last year, people from all over the globe came to learn about and experience coaching with ICF Sacramento. This year, we would love to offer this opportunity to as many people as possible.
In order to do this… We need your help!
We are looking for coaches who love what they do and love to talk about it! If this is you, we invite you to join one of our coaching panels on Thursday, May 19th.
On Saturday, May 21st, we need as many coaches as possible to provide 15-minute laser coaching sessions. If you haven’t laser coached much, don’t worry, we have a training coming up on Wednesday, April 27th (register here).
If you are interested in being a panelist or providing laser coaching, register here.
And just for fun, we want to hang out and get to know you at an ICW Coaches Cafe on Friday, May 20th. All coaches are welcome to attend. This is an opportunity to relax, enjoy the company of other coaches, and get jazzed about how amazing coaching is! Join us between 5:30-8:30 at Drake’s the Barn in West Sacramento (RSVP here).
Thank you for getting involved and helping to spread the word about how coaching can help us all Reimagine the Future!

Hello ICF Sacramento! Angela Lindley, here. I recently interviewed Pam Ramirez, ACC, founder of Incline Coaching based in Tracy, California. Click here to watch our interview and learn more about Pam’s experiences as a member of our community.
When Pam’s not working hard learning new things (as a self-proclaimed “lifelong learner”) or challenging herself, you might find her in the garden (she was a UC Master Gardener for almost 10 years), traveling the world, or dusting off her expansive PEZ collection.
