President's Message
Steve and Lisa March 2023

Greetings ICF Sacramento Coaches and Community!

This month I wanted to share some of my key insights and takeaways from Global Leaders Forum (GLF). GLF is an annual event where all current ICF chapter leaders, board members, and other volunteer leaders from across the ICF ecosystem get together. It is a 3 day virtual event, held twice to accommodate time zones around the world! Lisa Laughter (your President Elect) and I attended the first week.

GLF 2023’s focus was on helping us create a more diverse, inclusive culture that spreads a positive impact throughout ICF, the coaching profession and the world. Day 1 began with a focus on CULTURE, Day 2 on the intersection of culture and LEADERSHIP, and finally Day 3 on DIVERSITY brought it all together.

Coaches coming together as leaders to discuss these topics, what could be better? We’re hoping to take so much of these learnings and incorporate them into new actions and behaviors benefitting our chapter, starting with our Board retreat this month. It was an amazing experience meeting coaches from all over the United States and countries such as Sri Lanka, Saudi Arabia, Colombia, Luxembourg, and Austria.

As coaches we are all leaders! If you’re also called to be a leader of coaches and would like to join us, please don’t hesitate to reach out to me at president@icfsacramento.org or Lisa at presidentelect@icfsacramento.org

Angela Lindley 2023
Board Member Spotlight

Remember Angela Lindley, from her Coaching Introverts Workshop last year? Angela is now our Director of Membership! In case you missed the workshop, it will be back during International Coaching Week in May.

Angela first joined our board as Associate Director of Membership in 2022. Since it’s Global membership renewal season, if you have questions about your chapter membership, Angela is your gal!

When she isn’t assisting members, helping with projects and events, Angela loves to travel. Here she is in Tahoe, over Thanksgiving. She recently enjoyed trips to Kauai, Hawaii and West Virginia (where she hails from).

You can reach Angela at directormembership@icfsacramento.org
