Call for Board Nominations

Greetings ICF Sacramento Members! We Need Your Input.

JOIN US in co-creating the vision and results you desire for your ICF Chapter in 2019. We are looking for people who have a high passion for the coaching profession and want to be a part of a progressive, enthusiastic and collaborative team.

Fall means it is election time for next year’s Board of Directors. Members will receive a link in October to vote for next year’s Board. The results will be announced at the November general meeting and in our December newsletter. We would like to fill these positions early to allow for training and the smooth transitions of the roles.

Please note:

Nominations will close on September 30th at midnight.

We have five openings on the ballot:

  • President-Elect (responsible for supporting the needs of the membership and the members of the board. The president-elect will succeed the president without election.)
  • Director of Special Events (responsible for developing and leading all  targeted main events for the chapter such as ICW and the yearly holiday party; and other duties as discussed with the president or the board.)
  • Director of Public Relations (responsible for marketing the chapter on Social Media, creating the monthly newsletter, and managing new programs to attract interest in the chapter. This position will require partnering with various directors, as needed.)
  • Director of Membership (responsible for maintaining the membership status and database between Global and Chapter, provides reporting to the board on new members. This position will require partnering with various directors, as needed.)
  • Webmaster (responsible for maintaining the Website and other functions within Club Express, our Membership Management System; other duties may be assigned by the president and the board. Also a position that will require partnering with various directors, as needed.)

Qualifications of the Board of Director: to serve on the board of directors an individual must meet the following criteria and be:

  • An ICF-credentialed member or a member who commits to qualifying for an ICF credential
  • A member of ICF Sacramento and ICF Global in good standing
  • Able to attend a majority of Chapter meetings each term year
  • Able to participate in a majority of Board meetings each term year
  • Be nominated for the position by the Nominating Committee and approved by a majority vote of the board, and be voted into office by a simple majority vote of those that have membership privileges.

We invite you to make meaningful changes to your chapter and your profession, grow yourself as a leader, and increase your visibility. Please send an email to your Nominating Committee with your area of interest:
