About this event

CCEUs: TBD
Date: July 15, 2026
Time: Noon - 1:00pm PT
Great coaching creates insight but lasting change requires more. Many coaches find that while clients gain awareness, they often struggle to translate that into consistent action.
This session explores how emotional intelligence, through the EQ-i 2.0 model, helps bridge that gap. Grounded in the ICF Core Competencies, it offers a practical way to better understand the emotional patterns driving client behavior and how to work with them in real time.
Join David Cory, founder of one of the first companies to offer leadership development based on emotional intelligence - The Emotional Intelligence Training Company Inc., as he demonstrates how to deepen your coaching presence, evoke more meaningful awareness, and support clients in turning insights into sustainable change, all while strengthening the overall impact and differentiation of your practice.
By the end of this session, participants will be able to:
1) Connect emotional intelligence to the ICF Core Competencies to enhance coaching effectiveness and presence.
2) Identify key emotional patterns that influence client behavior, decision-making, and growth.
3) Apply the EQ-i 2.0 framework to evoke deeper client awareness and more meaningful insights.
4) Translate insight into action by supporting clients in sustainable behavior change.
5) Differentiate their coaching practice through the use of a validated, assessment-based approach.
