Credentialing

Holding a recognized and respected ICF credential is essential. An ICF credential provides accountability for individuals and the coaching industry. It shows clients that you are professional and highly skilled coach who is invested in their industry, education, and expertise.

While the Path to becoming an ICF credentialed coach can seem daunting and confusing, ICF Sacramento has helped hundreds of coaches navigate the rules and requirements of the ICF Global credentialing process, confidently and successfully. Whether you are renewing your credential or applying for a new one, we are here to help.

Our Director of Credentialing is committed to supporting ICF Sacramento chapter members with all their credentialing questions.

A typical conversation with our Director of Credentialing may center on:

  • Clarifying the validity of coaching training hours for renewal or acquisition of a new credential
  • Explaining the various requirements to apply for a credential for ACC, PCC or MCC.
  • Answering questions about renewing your credential or preparing for the next credential level.
  • Providing tips and explanation about the new Coaching Knowledge Assessment (CKA).
  • What to do if a credential has expired
  • Any other credentialling related questions or concerns.
