Speaker: Patrick Dimoh, ACC

Patrick Dimoh is a coach, mentor, veteran, and community member whose passion is rooted in helping people recognize what is possible for their lives and create a path to get there. Growing up in Crown Heights, Brooklyn, in a single-parent and low-income household, Patrick experienced firsthand how access, opportunity, and encouragement can change the trajectory of a person’s life. Raised by a mother who spent eight years in law school while supporting her family, he learned resilience, perseverance, and the importance of believing in goals even when circumstances are difficult. As the son of a parent from Sierra Leone and another from New York City, Patrick grew up with the perspective of two cultures and believes coaching is about more than performance. For him, it is about identity, confidence, accountability, and helping people see possibilities beyond potential challenges unique to their lives. College athletics, higher education, and military service helped expand Patrick’s view of the world. Through sports and his service in the United States Marine Corps and the United States Army, where he continues to serve part-time, he developed a strong foundation in leadership, discipline, mentorship, and resilience.

Patrick is an Associate Certified Coach through the International Coaching Federation and founder of Pursuits & Playlists, a small business focused on helping individuals and groups build consistency, improve wellness, strengthen accountability, and move closer to their goals. His coaching philosophy blends life, fitness, habits, and wellness into a whole-person approach designed to help people create lasting progress and realize that more is possible for their lives.
