This month, we’re trading conference rooms and Zoom screens for alpine water, mountain air, campfires, and community.
Join your fellow ICF Sacramento coaches for a weekend at Emerald Bay State Park, one of the most breathtaking locations in the Sierra Nevada.
Whether you come for a few hours or spend the weekend, this field trip is an opportunity to slow down, reconnect, and enjoy the natural beauty that exists right in our own backyard.
Our campsite will serve as home base for the weekend. From there, you can choose your own adventure. Relax by the water, swim, explore nearby trails, climb through the surrounding mountains, connect with fellow coaches, or simply find a quiet place to sit and take in the view.
Move at your own pace. Follow your curiosity. Then return to camp to share a meal, gather around the fire, and reflect on the inspiration, insights, and moments of wonder your adventure uncovered.
For those who enjoy paddling, bring your kayak, paddleboard, or favorite water toy.
Emerald Bay is often at its most magical during the quieter hours of sunrise and sunset, when the boats have returned home, the water settles, and the mountains are reflected like a mirror across the lake. These peaceful moments often become the memories that stay with us long after the weekend ends.
As evening falls, we’ll gather around the campfire beneath Tahoe’s dark mountain skies, where we may catch a shooting star while enjoying views of the Milky Way and the beauty of a Sierra summer night.
