Chapter Meetings
Chapter Meetings are held virtually the second Tuesday of each month (February to November). Chapter Meetings are where members hear directly from chapter leaders about what’s happening within ICF Sacramento. The meetings are also a forum for expanding attendees’ knowledge in various areas including business development, coaching skills, self-care for coaches, and credentialing.
Lunch & Learns
Lunch & Learns are held virtually the third Wednesday of each month (February to December). Lunch & Learns provide a powerful opportunity for members to learn key knowledge, tools, and insights shared through the lens of the speaker's coaching practice and experience.
Core Competency Webinars
The ICF Core Competencies aren’t just standards; they’re the foundation that elevates coaching everywhere. These frameworks set the global standard for professional coaching, defining essential knowledge, skills, and behaviors that professional coaches need to deliver meaningful, results-driven coaching. Every five to seven years, ICF relies on an evidence-based approach to update the Core Competencies, using comprehensive analysis, extensive global research, and most importantly, direct input and feedback from coaches. Our Core Competency webinars are led by expert facilitators, deeply knowledgeable about the competencies, and provide CCEUs approved by ICF Global.
Special Events
ICF Sacramento participates in International Coaching Week (ICW), held annually in May and designed to recognize the profound impact of professional coaching. We host a Fall Conference each September. Throughout the year, we host a variety of other networking and celebratory events for our members.
Special Programs
ICF Sacramento offers many special programs and opportunities for members to earn hours toward their credential requirements, and to dive deeper into their learning and connect with other coaches in a safe space under the supervision of master coaches. Our peer coaching programs ensure a multi-faceted and experiential approach to coach development. Our Ignite program provides opportunities for members to offer pro bono coaching to leaders of nonprofits and earn hours toward credentialing at the same time. (This effort is part of a larger international movement through ICF Global to bring coaching to the most pressing needs in society.) And our First 100 Hours program is designed for new coaches seeking the hours required to apply for the ACC.
Other Learning Opportunities
We periodically promote programs offered by our partners, and members may post professional development programs and events to our calendar.
