1 Resource Development CCEU
Rooted in decades of practical experience, convening is a powerful set of principles and practices for making any gathering productive, meaningful, and transformative. "Convening is different from facilitation. By definition, facilitations is 'the process of making things easier.' Conveners invite participants to co-create the highest possible outcome for a meeting or gathering." The heart of this practice is the Convening Wheel -- a series of nine steps, or Aspects, that bring the practices and principles needed for authentic engagement together as a whole. Convening works in any setting and can be adapted to virtually any group process.
NOTE: To be awarded CCEU credit, you must attend the full webinar. A code word will be provided at the beginning and end of the webinar that you can use to request your CCEU certificate.
VIRTUAL AGENDA:
Join between 11:45 and Noon. The code word for the meeting will be provided near the start of the Zoom presentation so it is important to be on time.
