The tenth ICF Core Competency - Planning and Goal Setting - aids in facilitating learning and results through the practice of developing and maintaining an effective coaching plan with the client. It includes partnering with the client and identifying successes that are important to the client to develop goals that are SMART - described by ICF as specific, measurable, attractive, realistic and that have target dates.

Together we will unpack what it means to engage in Planning and Goal Setting and how to stay aware of the client's plan, learning style, pace and commitment to the goal.

Join us for this interactive teleclass to deepen your knowledge of facilitating learning and growth with clients and keep your coaching practice in alignment with professional coaching standards.

Come prepared to ask questions, share your experience and explore the nuances of Planning and Goal Setting.

This session will be facilitated by our Chapter President, Coleen Chandler, PCC, CPCC. Coleen is an accomplished Creativity and Performance coach who helps artists, performers, creators and innovative leaders to focus, strategize and execute their creative visions to build thriving careers and live a life of creative passion.

Coleen is a Professional Certified Coach (PCC) through the International Coach Federation (ICF), a graduate of the Coaches Training Institute (CPCC), a mentor coach and a performing singer-songwriter. An ex-commercial banker, she is also an executive coach and a business consultant. Coleen believes that Creativity and Self-Confidence (presentation & performance) are two key skills necessary to propel anyone to new levels of mastery - professionally and personally.
